Hours: 07h30 to 16h30 / Monday to Friday and one Saturday per month

Salary: Market related

Job Purpose:

Our nationwide hazardous waste management and environmental remediation company seeks an Environmental Specialist who would be responsible for: 

1. Environmental/Contamination Site Assessments
2. Providing environmental remediation expertise
3. Management of environmental spillage incidents

Minimum Requirements:

Min experience: 5 years’ Experience

Environmental Science/Geohydrology/Geology post graduate degree

Skilled in Microsoft word/Excel and Sharepoint

Detailed experience and knowledge of the relevant Acts is Beneficial

• National Environmental Management Act (Act No. 107 of 1998)
• National Environmental Management: Waste Act (Act No. 59 of 2008)
• National Water Act (Act No. 36 of 1998)
