The presence of humic acid and micro-organisms in BIOZORB and in the air enhance the natural breakdown of hydrocarbons. All hydrocarbons are organic carbon compounds made up of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Microbial activity will break nearly all hydrocarbons down into carbon dioxide and water within a short period of time.
